Also known as “The BTU”, the club was founded in Chicago during the spring of 2025 as a way for a few of the fellas to enjoy the game we love Together and quickly evolved into a larger and more inclusive group, adding both women and junior golfers to the Union.

The Black Tee Union is a golf social club created for connection, community and growth of the game in our community, which has been sorely underrepresented.

We bring together players of all genders and skill levels who share a passion for the game and a desire for meaningful fellowship. Our focus is on providing a welcoming environment, organizing great outings on local courses, and fostering the kind of genuine relationships that extend beyond the 18th hole.

We are building a modern golf community where camaraderie and the love of the sport come first.
